The West Africa Economic and Monetary Union (Union Economique et Monetaire Ouest Africaine UEMOA) has launched a tender for bids to develop, build and operate grid-tied solar photovoltaic projects ranging from 5-25MW in UEMOA Member States (the “Project”) as part of its wider push to deliver sustainable energy production at affordable prices and to increase the prevalence and use of renewable energy sources in Member States.
Completed tenders must be submitted in the French language no later than 6 November at 17.00 (Togo time) in hard and soft copy. Impact Amplifier, with support from Stichting DOEN, is offering a comprehensive investment readiness program that will position your business for growth and to secure funding.
The program will start in late January 2016 and be based wherever the majority of selected companies are from. This five-month long program is designed for businesses in the environmental goods and services sector and will cover:

- Products, services and market access development
- Financial modeling and planning
- Investment case writing and pitching to Investors
- Connecting with partners in the business ecosystem, including investors, multinational companies, NGOs and government departments
