The Energy and Extractives Global Practice of the World Bank, together with ESMAP, has established an Open Data Platform to provide a home for the statistical, measurement and survey data generated by World Bank Group projects in the energy sector. Access to Finance Portal for Africa Launched
Access to Finance Portal for Africa (AFPA), a new non-commercial web portal on financing information has been launched. This portal is an initiative of Comesa Regional Investment Agency (RIA) and is supported by the ACP Business Climate facility (BizClim). The platform will allow the users to navigate through various funding as well as insurance information, to find the most suitable one for their projects or enterprises.
Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Program (RECP) Focuses on Facilitating Private Investments in Africa
The Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Program (RECP) aims at developing the renewable energy market in Africa by supporting the private sector. It is currently initiating a set of activities that are geared towards facilitating private investments in several African countries.
