The Government of Nepal through the Alternative Energy Promotion Center (AEPC) and the Asian Development Bank’s Energy for All Partnership is organizing a two-day workshop and investor forum on April 30 and May 1, 2015 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The theme is Renewable Energy (RE) Financing, and the event will be branded as a Sustainable Energy for All activity.
The first day of the workshop will review the success factors of renewable energy financing within Asia and the Pacific, and share knowledge on the development of viable and innovative renewable energy financing models. The second day, which is the investment forum, will feature case studies of energy access projects that successfully received commercial financing. It will also provide an avenue for project developers in Nepal to present their own ideas to potential investors.
