Tools & Resources – April 2017
The Global Tracking Framework 2017 (GTF) interactive online portal now available
GTF aims to provide the international community with a global dashboard to register progress on energy access, energy efficiency and renewable energy. It assesses the progress made by each country on these three pillars and provides a snapshot of how far we are from achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) targets. Visit www.gtf.esmap.org to compare results across countries, explore different indicators, and assess progress over time.
Renewable Energy (RE) Explorer – A New Geospatial Tool for Data Analysis
RE Explorer, a new geospatial tool developed by The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) with support from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), provides renewable energy data, analytical tools, and technical assistance to developers, policymakers, and decision makers to make informed decisions that support low-emission development and ultimately reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
